| Dr. Jennifer Maw |

Jennifer Maw, M.D., founder of Ear and Rehabilitation Services (EARS) Inc., is dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of ear disorders, including hearing loss, balance, and facial nerve disorders. She is highly skilled in acoustic neuroma surgery, cochlear implantation, stapedotomy, and vestibular surgery.
Dr. Maw is an Otologist-Neurotologist, practicing in San Jose since 1998. She has owned her private practice since 2000. Dr. Maw is board certified in Otolaryngology in the United States and Canada. She is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Dr. Maw is an Clincal Associate Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology at Stanford University, and a surgical consultant in Otology-Neurotology and Skull-Base Surgery at Kaiser Santa Clara and Kaiser Fremont Centers.
Reflecting her commitment to both her community and her profession, Dr. Maw is a member of multiple professional associations and committees, including the American Academy of Otolaryngolgy, the Canadian Society of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, and the American Neurotology Society. She was an investigating surgeon in the FDA clinical trial of the Symphonix Soundbridge middle ear implant. Her current research interests lie in tissue adhesives and bone cements in otologic surgery. She speaks frequently—locally and internationally—about issues related to hearing, innovations, and research.

Education/Credentials: Preet is a physician from India, with a Bachelors in Medicine/Surgery. She has a Masters in Medical Sciences from St. Francis University, Lorretto Pennsylvania with honors. She is a certified Physician Assistant and a member of American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Expertise: Evaluation, treatment and follow-up of patients with Hearing loss, Tinnitus, Ear infections, Otalgia, Meniere's disease, Vertigo and Dizziness.
Angelica G. Jimenez, C.M.A.
Team Member Since: 2006
Education/Credentials: Angelica Jimenez joined Dr. Maw's office in April 2006 as a Certified Medical Assistant. She graduated from
Lawton School in San Jose CA, in Phlebotomy and became a Certified Phlebotomist in 1990 and a Certified Medical Assistant in 1991. Angelica is also certified in Industrial Audiometry and an active member of he California Hispanic American Medical Association (CHAMA).

Audiology and Rehabilitation Team
Sarika Patil, Au.D., M.A., CCC-A
Team member since: 2004
Education/Credentials: Bachelor's in Speech and Hearing Sciences, Mumbai, India; Masters degree in Audiology from Ohio University. Doctorate in Audiology from Pennsylvania College of Optometry. Member of American Academy of Audiology, Licensed with the California State Hearing Aid Dispenser bureau and certified with the American speech language hearing association.
Expertise: Cochlear Implant evaluation, programming (Cochlear, MED EL and Advanced Bionics) and follow-up on adult and pediatric patients. Hearing Aid evaluation and programming of devices made by all leading manufacturers. Middle ear implant evaluation and fittings.
Manoj Kumar M.S., CFY-A

Cynthia J. Drotar, OTRL
Team member since: 2007
Education/Credentials: Graduate of San Jose State University Occupational Therapy program with honors. Extensive experience in hospital, outpatient, nursing home and home health settings. Cynthia has been working in the specialty area of vestibular and balance therapy the past nine years.
Expertise: Vestibular and balance rehabilitation.

Johnathon has a B.S. in Organization and Management from San Jose State University and is currently getting a Masters in Human Resource from Chapman University. He sits on the Board of Directors for two non-profit organizations and is Executive Director of The Choral Project. Johnathon brings 15 years of management and customer service experience to the practice and is happy to assist in making your experience the best possible.
